I started my working life at age 16 in a traditional advertising agency and later in my career had the privilege of working for We Are Social at a time when it was arguably the most innovative social media specialist agency in the world. I enjoy the fast paced environment and responding the client briefs and RFPs in a competitive pitch process. My time spent client side has provided me with a unique insight into their expectations, challenges and frustrations when dealing with agencies. Sharing this insight and supporting agencies in fostering client relationships built on trust that allows for the creation of campaigns that are impactful and potentially award winning is incredibly rewarding for me as a consultant. Localisation on a global scale that prioritises coherent messaging and a joined up approach to marketing communications is a specialty. I oversaw activity across 58 international markets to gain the buy-in of locally autonomous offices to maximise efficiency and regain control at HQ. I have launched clients on social platforms in China.  I have provided best practice models for media owners and licensee groups globally.
